Here’s all you need to know about the Royal Virushka wedding & Reception!
Anushka and Virat have truly made us believe that dreams do come true and when they do they’re no less than fairytales. The exotic engagement, quirky mehendi and a classic wedding followed by their Delhi and Mumbai receptions made it to every girl’s dream.
This dreamy wedding was followed by a royal reception in the Heart of India, Delhi. Invitations were sent out with a sapling inside making it one of a kind.
Tying the knot in one of the most romantic destination, Tuscany and then heading towards their extravagant reception in the premium hotels of Delhi has been the talk of the town. So, here are a few glances of the oh-so-regal wedding reception.
For the Delhi reception, Anushka wore a beautiful red Banarasi Sari teamed up with an Uncut Diamond Choker and Jhumkas. To adorn her look she wore a Red Bindi, Sindoor and Mogras which made her look absolutely dynamic. Virat on the other side donned a black silk Bandhgala with house buttons made of gold and a white silk Churidaar. To finish his royal look he teamed it up with Mojris and a hand-embroidered antique Pashmina Shawl.
The couple was all dressed in by Sabyasachi for their wedding functions. With such a beautiful selection of attires for Virushka, Sabyasachi has proven that, he was, is and will always be the best bride and groom designer in town.
The couple walked in gracefully amidst family and friends. And as known to all, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the guest of honour, who came down to wish Virushka. The presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the reception was the cherry on the cake.
For their Mumbai reception with Bollywood celebs and cricketers, the couple again chose to wear Sabyasachi outfits and jewelry. While Anushka wore a grey outfit with studded flowers and a heavy diamond necklace, Virat went for a navy blue bandhgala jacket and white pants.
A lot of celebrities and cricketers are also attended the grand celebration. M.S. Dhoni, Suresh Raina and Shikhar Dhawan, Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Kangana Ranaut were amongst the few to celebrate their happiness.
Gurudas Mann, the energy booster made sure that each and everyone twisted and twirled. Even Virat Kohli couldn’t resist himself from getting on to the floor and shaking a leg with his mom.
The celebrations ended with a happy note. The super cute couple Anushka-Virat complemented each other so well that you just feel like seeing their picture time and again.
